What comes to mind when you think of an Indian wedding? Obviously: Bright colors… Flowing fabrics… Dripping with Gold…  But look a little deeper. Indian weddings are more of an elaborate production than a simple ceremony and reception. You might say the extravagant theatricality, carefully chosen details, and breathtaking… eye popping… overwhelming sights to behold create a sort of “Spectacular! Spectacular!” much like the film “Moulin Rouge” whose very content draws on these same concepts. But all of this would be meaningless without its foundation.

Truth … beauty … freedom … and above all things– L O V E !

So check out our latest collaborative photo shoot featuring floral designs by Bows and Arrows, set design by RSVP Event Design, cake by Sugar Bee Sweets, invitations by Southern Fried Paper, penmanship by The Left Handed Calligrapher, hair and makeup by TC Makeup, beautiful model Richa Johari, and hosted at the gorgeous Samar Indian Fusion Restaurant by Stephan Pyles.

Sweet couple Daniel and Katie had a fun and beautiful wedding on Memorial Day Weekend. Our pals at Bows and Arrows created beautiful florals and decor at Royal Lane Baptist Church and Stephan Pyles for the reception. Luckily we had some time between the ceremony and reception to goof off and take some fun photos downtown by the Old Red Courthouse. After the amazingly delicious dinner at Stephan Pyles, guests enjoyed the cake by Dallas Affaires and music provided by Tommy Evans of Specialty Sound. At the end of the night, Katie and Daniel were whisked away in a 1963 Rolls Royce courtesy of Blue Diamond Limousines.
