When our good buddy, Sammy Mandell asked us to photograph his wedding, we of course said yes! Sammy and his family just happen to own Greenville Avenue Pizza Company right downstairs from our studio, so it was a lot of fun to be able to shoot Sammy and Molly’s wedding with all of their friends and family surrounding them on their special day. Here are some of our favorite shots!

Molly has a great sense of humor. That came in handy when her new brother in law smashed a chocolate and sprinkled donut in her face!

The fourth of July was an extra special day for Samantha and Michael, who were married at the patriotically decorated Arlington Hall at Lee Park. Rebecca Hackl of Rebecca Hackl Events along with Cory Morrison of Cocktails and Caviar and Marissa Ritter of Arlington Hall arranged a truly beautiful event. Anita Haar of Elan Makeup Studio beautified Samantha and her three daughters, Hannah, Sarah, and Rebecca. Michael, his groomsmen, and the little ring bearer all wore blue seersuckers, looking very appropriate for summer and Independence Day. Marty Younkin of Love Notes Weddings performed the heartfelt ceremony on the front steps of Arlington Hall while Domino and Amy of Domino Effect provided beautiful acoustic guitar music and singing. To go with the Fourth of July theme, everyone munched on picnic style food of burgers, chicken fingers, brisket, and the always amazing mac n’ cheese of Arlington Hall that we so dearly love. The guests enjoyed both the bride and groom’s cakes by Creme de la Creme and had a blast dancing to the upbeat sounds of Domino Effect. Later, the fireworks show on the lawn of Lee Park amazed the bride and groom, who made their getaway shortly after in a bright red vintage Bel-Air convertible provided by Dallas Dream Cars. Not to mention, this entire wedding was filmed by TLC for the show “Four Weddings” which was definitely a different experience for us! There were three other brides there from the show to judge Samantha’s wedding and many, many members of the TLC filming crew! Go Samantha– we hope your wedding wins!
