Rita and Karthik had a most extravagant wedding celebration at the Hotel Intercontinental this past weekend! Hala Snyder of Events by Hala did an amazing job coordinating the beautiful and fun series of events. The bride and groom were blissfully happy and the 500 guests had an amazing time. Friday evening the Garba took place. Rita looked gorgeous in her turquoise sari!

Music for the Garba was provided by Falu, who came all the way from New York. The same musicians also played at President Obama's first state dinner!

Karthik rode in an old Cadillac convertible for his Baraat the morning of the ceremony. All the kids wanted to ride with him too!
Karthik's family and friends all had fun dancing during the Baraat before they carried him into the hotel to be greeted by Rita's parents. A good videographer does whatever it takes to get the perfect shot, right Shezad??
Rita and Karthik's ceremony was so beautiful to photograph. Luckily the priest explained everything he was doing!
The bride and groom were big fans of the dipping shot. They wanted one in every outfit!

Hala of Events by Hala, Prashe of Prashe Decor, and LITE Dallas did an amazing job making the ballroom look spectacular

The presence of our family and friends added grace and excitement to the the Dandia Ras and the fun we all had at the reception. You all created waves while we all danced to the rhythm and it was indeed a memorable event. The pre and post wedding events were nicely done

Bride looks so pretty and both of them together make a handsome couple. I am of course partial to the bride as I am “the mother of the bride”. Presence of all friends and family made the event so precious.
